Economics Auction Simulator

Department of Economics Distinguished Senior Lecturer Eric Schulz approached the MMLC seeking to create a comprehensive auction simulator that would allow students to participate in three types of auctions: sealed first-price, Vickery, and Dutch, with the goal of verifying the similarity of their results.

With the help of Hewlett intern Eric Mika, the MMLC responded to the challenge with an elegant real-time web-mediated system that allows students to participate in auctions from any avilable web browser.
