Creative Writing in Italian– a forum and archive for creative writing in Italian

Professor Paola Morgavi has developed with the help of the MMLC an online resource that both assists in the iterative process of creative writing (conception, writing, correction, and revision), as well as serves as an historical library of students' work year-to-year. This project is an evolution of an earlier, experimental design first introduced by former NU Professor Davide Stimilli (French and Italian).

At each login, students view a fun and ever changing welcome page on which an instructor-provided comment headlines their own short daily quips. From the welcome page, students typically interact with two major areas of the site: the writing forum and the archive.

The writing forum provides a coordinated means of starting new writing and following its development from rough idea to finished work. Then the peice is submitted to the archive where it can be consulted by (and entertain) future classes.
