Eastern Germany Since the Fall of the Wall

Bernhard Streitwieser (Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of German and Assistant Director of the Searle Center for Teaching Excellence), and Franziska Lys (Associate Professor of German) teamed with the MMLC to create a site, within NU's Blackboard Course Management System, filled with video interviews, news segments, and articles from the University Library's Electronic Reserve. Using several of Blackboard's advanced features, we were able to add visual interest, create internal links in a large site, and develop a clever design that allows for easier maintenance in the future.
